Gonna stop with the rhyming cause I’ve lost all of my timing, it’s like all the words and their rings have been completely thrown out of me. I’d have liked to do this freely but I’ve lost my starting esprit, and I’m not even going to bring myself to finish writing this thing.

Why do they trust Asebi with doing anything if she’s so unlucky? Talk about OVERDOING a trope, and then having others praise it for doing so. I mean, what? Sure, you can exaggerate shit to prove your point that this trope is stupid, but you’re not making it stupid enough! Are you trying to say that these tropes are good things, that we SHOULD have these people dropping hot tea on people’s heads everywhere they go?

Perhaps they are. With Ben-To, you never Ben-Know, whether these things are apropos, or simply Ben-Low. I honestly don’t understand why everybody is praising Ben-To only for its most shallow aspects. I’d recommend creating a survey of people’s opinions on homelessness, poverty, and famine before watching Ben-To and after watching Ben-To. I’m sure there’d be a difference.

That said, food is free at the hospital, right? OH, IT ISN’T BECAUSE JAPAN DOESN’T HAVE FREE HEALTHCARE?! SORRY, I FORGOT BECAUSE I’VE HAD FREE HEALTHCARE ALL MY LIFE OVER HERE IN CANADA. Please excuse me.

Perhaps Satou isn’t anything out of the norm. He’s simply the first one out in a new generation of light novel protagonists.

P.S. Dunno why the industry doesn’t simply change tropes with the fads. That way, nobody’s ever sad, because as soon as we realize one type of character is ‘old’, a new type of character will come in. Instead, each ‘wave’ of characters lasts for several years before moving on…
