The greatest part of Steins;Gate was its climax, when Rintarou did all sorts of crazy shit and it all connected back to the beginning like some bizarre circular argument typical of time-bending tales.
The greatest part of Boukan no Rebellion is its climax, when Daru did all sorts of crazy shit and it all connected back to… things.
What I’m going at is, Boukan no Rebellion focuses on Suzuha and so her most emotional moment was finding her father. Mayuri’s train of logic was executed well and there was no dearth of cheesy/teary goodbyes, so I guess it was a good scene.
That is, IF THE ART WEREN’T SO *~QUALITY~*
itt: fanservice in my moe manga?! *grumble grumble*
the enemy’s gate is down
also there IS NO GRAVITY IN SPACE WHY DOES THEIR HAIR GRAVIT-right, centrifugal ‘force’
TWIST ENDING: NEURONS REPRESENT UNIVERSE, ENTIRE MACROVERSE EXISTS IN MAHO
itt: 7 month timeskip. THE RACE TO CONCLUDE BEFORE THE AXE AT 39 BEGINS~
P.S. what is characterization ??????
AHHHHHH HIS DAD IS DED
It’s starting to get confusing now. I would write the plot out for you guys but nobody’s reading this and I don’t understand it myself; even marathoning 4 chapters (ok, that’s not a marathon) hasn’t helped. There’s that great Black Lagoon/Roanapur feel again with the four heads actually meeting, so all we can do is pray that the big bad of this arc isn’t some contrived rape survivor again… (not that I remember Black Lagoon having any of those)
Himiko’s voice actress sounds like she hasn’t slept for three days and just wants to get this over with so that she can go home. People don’t shout like that, OK.
P.S. ‘rape’ doesn’t count as character development sorry
P.P.S. no she just said ‘get away from me’ in japanese mr. yuu kenot sbeek so shud ab
P.P.P.S. sena, blonde, boobs, etc.
since himiko’s not in this episode have an obligatory half-naked guy
p.s. fourteen-year-olds aren’t that short, though some may be that smart and psychotic
p.p.s. i was wondering if they would wear the same clothes forever, but the kits all have different things – sunscreen, flashlights, pots (for instant noodles), extra shirts, etc. maybe there’ll be big kits with water purifiers, fishing rods, and matches, or kits with y’know REPLACEMENT BIMs
p.p.p.s. four months in the future: everybody runs out of BIMs, guy with survival knife wins because nobody else has anything sharp
Not sure how sonar/radar works when you’re in a dense jungle… do radio waves go through trees?
TWIST ENDING: MAHO AND AMACHI IMPREGNATED WITH ASTRAL ENERGIES. LITERALLY.
OK, so NilaiTP got a direct JP -> Eng translator, so the grammar isn’t as egregious. Would’ve been interesting to DUWANG that but they’re a decent group, so I won’t. Instead, have some diabetes
ST&RS doesn’t bother explaining all this deus ex cause ~aliens~
~aliens~ do whatever
go away logic >:(
P.S. since amachi’s harnessing the power of PEOPLE’S HOPES AND DREAMS via email do I get the power of flare from blog comments. if I read books will I be like patchy and royal flare things/people/~aliens~
P.P.S. if your answer to any of the above questions was ‘no’ your a horibowl humen bean
This Sena girl is fucking retarded.
In this chapter: QUALITY ART.
Stay tuned for an exciting announcement tonight from me, and another exciting announcement sometime later from somebody else, whenever he decides to excitedly announce it.
tl;dr: filler posts
This is the sound effect I make when I realize NOTHING HAPPENED THIS CHAPTER. AT ALL.
P.S. The art seems nice at first but all this white space, pointless dramatic speech bubbles, constant changing of nose sizes… sigh.
P.P.S. inb4 ‘lol you can’t say their art sucks because you can’t even draw!’. I say inb4 because nobody’s going to read this post, and for good reason
In moètsu Pirates Episode 21: the DINGHY SPACE LEAGE [sic] outwits the Biscuit Company.
P.S. That girl is the moè-est girl in the entire show. FUCK YOU NANOPULP, DROWN IN A WELL OFF THE COAST OF FINLAND
It’s weird to see Hibito’s thoughts and not follow up on them too much. The shift in perspective was for convenience of narration and I’m not sure whether it was a good move.
Anyway, really heartwarming and such. Shows that selection processes still can be fair, that the world is still forgiving and understanding.
I like this show well enough, but the fighting was a bit retarded. It was probably the same in Black Lagoon, though.
Jormungand 5 will be a better post.
oh god oh no god no oh god
He’s going to get cut
by the guys
oh my god
and there will be seventeen episodes of him begging to the Space Agency
This episode was all about girls who are Mary Sues. There’s not much else to say.
Cover rating drops by two points.
Uchuu Kyoudai is now 6/10 (Amazing)
It is the era of space colonization.
In the far, far future, humans have devised interstellar transportation systems, as well as various diverse technological advances in inventions such as the sideways-propeller-bicycle, the purple-car-with-a-fancy-hood, and the hologram computer display.
It is in this distant future that man faces its greatest challenge yet. Armed with cutting-edge sciences and the galaxy’s most brilliant minds, humanity sets out to finally devise, once and for all, an ingenious contraption that will eliminate this vile threat.
For it is all in vain.
In the faraway future, long after our grandchildren’s grandchildren’s grandchildren are long dead, humanity has not, could not, and cannot destroy them all.
Oh hmm this is my 700th post.
P.S. They didn’t.
For some reason, I don’t remember watching Kirino’s novel’s episode, except for that part about Kirino and Kuroneko saying interesting things about each other.
It’s nice to see new perspectives about any situation, for example, from Kirino’s father – a look at what otaku society is like from a ‘normal person’s point of view.
I heard the producers saying ‘one-cour’, which was translated as… half a season? Are seasons half a year in America? That doesn’t make sense at all – aren’t there /four/ seasons in a year? If a season really is two cours… THEN WHAT ARE MY HALF SEASON REVIEWS GOING TO BE?! I guess I could stay with the definition of ‘climate season’, but… arghblargh television doesn’t make sense.
