A Filler Post 23
WAIT! It’s not really a filler post! In this filler post, I will talk about MANY THINGS.
1. I got accepted for the Pre-International Baccalaureate program, but I’m planning on refusing their offer, after many hours of careful thought. Obviously, my parents are opposed to this, but I am about 34% confident they’ll understand. The IB program’s a great idea with a horrible execution – although I haven’t witnessed it first-hand, second-hand accounts from both IB students, IB teachers, and IB graduates tell me that much of what they do in IB is homework for the sake of homework. The ultimate goal of the program is simple enough – to get into a world-renowned university – but as long as I can get a university degree, isn’t that fine?! I’m going to forge my OWN PATH forward and NOT RELY ON OTHERS in my quest to become a homeless person begging for food in the freezing Vancouver streets successful guy. I’M NOT AFRAID OF ANYTHING ANYMO-wait mom, wait, don’t call my Socials teacher and ask him about my Socials mark, please!!
2. In French class, compulsive studier friend bemoans his 91%, second place in the class, wondering who could’ve snatched that elusive first place. Walking calmly to the mark list, I happen upon my name – 92.5%! Not bad. Scanning up and down the sheet, I realize…
…wait a minute, did I just get the highest mark in our grade?! HAHAHAHAHA ABSOLUTEZERO255 YOUR REIGN OF TERROR ENDS TODAY, BECAUSE I HAVE FINALLY BEAT YOU IN FRENCH oh Madoka I sound like an IB student now… *horrified face*
(The funny thing is that you guys know I spend 90% of my time writing these god-awful posts and watching horrible, terrible Japanese cartoons all day long, yet still…)
3. Rewritten posts! Yeah, you guys have probably noticed the Black Rock Shooter Episode 6 post I pinned up to the front page for a while now, but yep, do read that. Furthermore, I’ve updated and finally finished my Winter 2012 First Impressions (Part One) after the thirty-eighth time in one week. Yes, I am making this number up. Other than those, I’ve got another post up in the works on Mudazumo Naki Kaikaku 56, and really, not much else is going on! I have the most boring life.
P.S. Wow, shit bro, someone’s reading a hella posts on this site. 40 views every hour for the past three hours! Whoever’s doing this, leave a comment so that I can, like, uh… acknowledge your… reading of this blog, I guess. :x
stupideas: reverse tsundere
Sorry guys with all the inactivity lately. I’m really bummed out from doing the Winter Season Previews, and with that International Baccalaureate entrance exam /and/ Chinese final exam today, I’ve got like two headaches and can think about as straight as a circle. Furthermore, I probably won’t have time to make posts tomorrow and the day after because it’s Chinese New Year; basically, I’m stressed out. Apparently, I also have low blood pressure and suffer from frequent spells of orthostatic hypotension. Huh, who knew (hint: not me).
So this is a pretty subdued post. I’ve no anime to watch and no manga to read; and even if I did, I wouldn’t be able to make a coherent post. Thus, it’s time for another episode of stupideas; but this time, without all those enthusiastic caps. I don’t have enough energy to press that shift button. Really. I make these capital letters by copying and pasting them from Wikipedia.
The main character of ‘reverse tsundere’ (yes, that’s the anime’s title, and yes, it’s not supposed to be capitalized) is, as you would expect, a tsundere. However, he’s male. He’s also ugly as hell. And nobody likes him, because nobody ever talks to him, and so nobody knows about his dere side, so everybody only sees him being tsuntsun. Which is annoying. And he’s also ugly.
One day, a transfer student comes in. She’s ugly too, and she has no personality whatsoever. Basically, it’s your average J.C. Staff anime but genderswapped and with ugly people. The transfer student is completely normal, except for her ugliness, which is a bit more ugly than normal. In fact, she’s the most ordinary person ever. After a while, nobody notices her either, because she’s so normal. The transfer student never speaks to the reverse tsundere, but secretly, she’s actually INDIFFERENT ABOUT HIM! And guess what?! The reverse tsundere is also INDIFFERENT ABOUT HER! AMAZING! WOW I broke my promise of not using caps sorry
After five years, they graduate from high school and go into separate universities. Then they get normal jobs and start earning money. The girl moves away to Canada, while the boy stays in Japan. The boy gets a wife and the girl gets a husband, and eventually they grow old. Finally, they die.
The end.
P.S. Even my site stats are telling me that my recent posts suck. I got half the number of views yesterday as I got in any day last week. My top searches were ‘anyways’ with three searches, ‘hess hitler’ also with three searches, and ‘anatomy manga girl’ with two searches.
tl;dr: I’ll finish writing my Mouretsu Pirates post and Steins;Gate posts later… (probably next week)

Steins;Gate: Boukan no Rebellion 3
Apparently there’s some ‘Anime Blog Carnival’ (not known as ‘ABC’) thing going on. The fact that I’ve heard nothing about this until now shows that I’ve been so busy writing those, eh, you know, eleven thousand word season previews, that not only have I not read more than five blog posts in the past two weeks, not read more than four chapters of manga in the past two weeks, and not watched more than three episodes of anime in the past two weeks; but that I’ve not done more than two Chinese final exams in the past two weeks, and neither have I done more than one International Baccalaureate entry exam in the past two weeks!
Which is what I’m doing now, and by now I mean tomorrow, and by tomorrow I mean yesterday. Writing two major exams back-to-back, that is. Yes, this is a Steins;Gate post. Yes, I will post about Steins;Gate later. Yes, later is when I finish my IB entry exam and Chinese final exam. Yes, Chinese New Year is on Monday. Yes, I posted about Steins;Gate. Later. Not on this post.
And yes, today’s yet another #SuicideSaturday. What the heck does that tag even mean?!

Post-post edit since some people are complaining that this post was too long and I like torturing people (no, not really). I’ll keep it short since I’m typing on Dvorak at 10 words a minute ._. Because Buyuden is BOXING, I am taking Taekwondo lessons so I don’t get beat up as often, and took my orange belt test (I’m still a white belt right now) two hours after I published this post. That’s a good thing but several things made me feel not as good.
All my classmates took their yellow belt (one above white belt in my school) exam, and everyone else taking the orange belt exam was about 6 years old. There was one kid whose head was larger than his shoulders’ width… but the most catastrophic part was when my leg cramped up in the middle. That leg has /never/ cramped before – my feet cramp a lot (so much that now I DON’T EVEN NOTICE IT)…
And finally while limping home, I walk into a spider-web. The spider’s probably still on me…

The chapter starts when RYNER tries to RAID a LIBRARY but the LIBRARY raids HIM cause he’s in IMPERIAL NELPHA. So he goes out and saves Reimu who was just going to HAX SIGN BURN EVERYTHING. Because of that some random guy lets him enter the library.
The random guy is LORD TOALE, the GRANDSON of the KING OF NELPHA!
But he’s really sad so he’s treated like some commoner guy.
Cue slap noises
Anyways back at the castle place Sion is doing random crap and Fiole comes in to say random crap but it’s not random crap because it’s a PLOTLINE RELATED EVENT

Sion then meets with some really really evil-looking guy called MIRAN Froaude. He tells Sion that he’ll kill everyone for him (of course, not so bluntly) or something. Sion highers him. Hires.

Surprisingly enough I didn’t edit many images (just one) this time, maybe because this episode was AWESOME or maybe because I just want to sleep. Or maybe, because this episode “certainly wasn’t exciting”.
Perhaps this is because everything was too drawn out – I mean, look at the brevity of my summary compared with other episodes. The entire episode only really had 4 parts – they meet Toale in the library, Fiole is murdered, Iris is AWESOME, and Miran is introduced. That’s all. They could have fit all of that into 5, 10 minutes – everything else was unnecessary. Those 4 points are the only things that mattered this episode.
This directly contrasts to previous (non-jail, because Ryner talking to the guard could have been summed up in one point – Ryner talked to the guard) episodes, in which tons of random stuff happened that are actually somewhat important to the plot.
It’s probably all just a matter of pacing anyways.
Another interesting thing is how quickly Fiole gets killed – although it could be that tl;dw doesn’t care about plot armour and Ryner might be killed in chapter 7 letting ERIS be the protagonist (YEAAAAAAAAAAAAH), it’s also likely they just did that to make it seem like they had no plot armour and weren’t cliché; but in reality they still are, cause honestly Fiole just appeared once. Or twice. See, I don’t remember – meaning he’s unimportant.
In both of the remaining bloggers of this show (everyone’s shifting to Shiki and Amagami SS :/ ), it’s agreed on that the interactions between Ferris/Ryner are highlights. BUT IRIS IS THE BEST

Well. It seems that all three sides’ leaders are leaving, which means either the war has ended because there’s noone to lead the armies, or the war is just going get a lot more bloody with the only remnants of order going away. Yellow Scarves is turning into Blue Square again, with Horoda as the unofficial leader. The members of Dollars probably wanted to pwn the Scarves pretty badly as well; however, Mikado somewhat prevented that (remember the start? The graffiti wall and all that?). Now with both of them gone, I can foresee a real gang war happening.
And Anri’s probably not going to mobilize the Slashers either; once they get found out they’ll just get pulverized by the rest of the Scarves, without even knowing what they’ve done. She’s not that mean to lead everyone to certain pain.
As for this episode… the escape scene was pretty badass. Just like the first meeting where everyone seemed to have cellphones and pwnt Namie, the Dollars’ anonymity have allowed them to pwn the Scarves as well. Even Kaztano and that lost and found girl helped…!
…Izaya’s plan seems to be working perfectly. Removing the three will make the war progress much faster, and injuring (I do hope he’s not dead yet) Shizuo will prevent him from taking out too many people at once.
The only obstacles left to his plan now are Celty, Simon, and that police guy who we haven’t seen since his debut episode. Because we haven’t seen him, that’s exactly why I think he’s going to appear at the finale. Why else would he have a scene in the OP?
What happened to Shinra’s dad anyways? What’s Mika/Seiji’s role (they haven’t really done anything since after resolving the incident, IMO that conversation with Mikado was an intentional attempt to bring them back)? Is Namie going to do something again? Why does the police guy appear in only one episode (I mean, if he’s just going to be in one episode, you could’ve just put freaking Horoda on the OP)?
Finally, the one and most important question.
